The Nora+ controller is built around the STM32H743/STM32H753 processor (480 MHz, 2MB Flash, 1MB RAM), offering double-precision floating-point performance. It features three sets of IMUs (ICM-42688-P / ICM-20689 / BMI088) supporting intelligent failover, dual MS5611 barometers, and the industrial-grade RM3100 compass for exceptional interference immunity. The built-in patented shock absorption and temperature compensation system ensure stable operation under vibration and temperature changes. With rich interfaces including 5 UARTs, 6 I2C, 14 PWM outputs (support DSHOT), 2 CAN buses, and dual USB ports, Nora+ meets diverse expansion needs. The classic side interface design and integrated FPCB construction eliminate secondary soldering, maximizing reliability. The standard package includes a CAN digital power module for precise voltage/current measurement.

CUAV Nora+ Controller Description


H7 Processor | Powerful Performance

Nora+ uses STM32H743 series processor, CPU Cortex-M7 core with double-precision floating-point unit. It operates at 480 MHz, with 2 MB Flash and 1 MB RAM, meeting higher computing needs. Compared with STM32F7, dynamic power consumption efficiency is doubled.


Sensor Upgraded Again

Sensor is one of the important indicators to evaluate the controller. This time we have added the ICM-42688-P sensor. Compared with traditional consumer IMU, the noise figure of ICM-42688-P is reduced by 40%, and temperature stability is improved 2 times, ensuring highest accuracy measurement under temperature changes.


Sensor Redundancy Design

Built with three sets of accelerometers and gyroscopes, the controller monitors multiple sensor data in real-time, and executes redundant switching immediately in case of failure to improve safety and stability.


Temperature Compensation System

The built-in high-precision sensor temperature compensation system makes the sensor work at a constant temperature, ensuring stable operation with high precision and sensitivity in high and low temperatures.


Built-in Shock Absorption Design

In order to increase the stability of Nora, a shock absorption system is designed in a compact volume, giving you extra peace of mind.


Integrated Design

Nora+ controller adopts an integrated FPCB design, with the whole structure integrally formed by SMT, without any secondary welding or inserted parts, ensuring the highest reliability of the hardware structure.


Standard Pack Digital Power Module

The standard package includes a UAVCAN protocol digital power detection module, using CUAV independent R&D algorithm, accurate measurement of real-time voltage and current, making work time estimation more reliable.
