Introduction

The Banana Pi BPI-R4 Lite, driven by a MediaTek MT7987A Quad-core Arm Cortex-A53 processor, is a high-performance industrial single-board computer. It comes with 2GB DDR4 (extendable to 4GB), 8GB eMMC flash, 256MB SPI-NAND Flash, and 32MB SPI-NOR Flash, supported by a Micro SD card slot. The board provides robust networking capabilities, featuring 1x 2.5G SFP, 1x 2.5G RJ45 WAN (POE-supported with a soldered POE module), and 4x 1G RJ45 LAN ports. For expansion, it includes 1x USB3.0 slot, 1x M.2 KEY-B slot with USB3.0 for 5G modules, and 1x miniPCIe slot with PCIe3.0 2lane interface for Wi-Fi 7 NIC, alongside a miniPCIe slot with USB2.0 interface. Additionally, it has a USB Type-C Debug Console and 2x8 PIN MikroBUS Headers for further application expansion. This powerful SBC is ideal for various industrial and communication applications.
