Sipeed Tang Primer 25K - 23040 Logic Cells for FPGA

Introduction

Tang Primer 25K is a minuscule core board (23x18mm) designed based on GW5A-LV25MG121, accompanied by a 25K Dock base board that exposes all pins (excluding MIPI high-speed pins).

The ultra-small core board size can be applied in any volume-restricted scenario.
The simple base board can connect a USB joystick, plug in a 40Pin SDRAM module, and three PMOD interfaces can connect to an HDMI display, and PS2 joystick to form a typical RetroGame console configuration.
It can also be paired with the series of PMOD modules produced by Sipeed, for use in FPGA university teaching.

Features

  1. Compact Design: Tang Primer 25K is an extremely small form factor core board (23x18mm) based on the GW5A-LV25MG121 FPGA chip, suitable for applications where space is limited.

  2. Expandability: The board comes with a 25K Dock base that exposes all available pins (except for MIPI high-speed pins), allowing for easy expansion and interfacing with various peripherals.

  3. RetroGame Console Configuration: The simple base board can support a USB joystick, accommodate a 40Pin SDRAM module, and features three PMOD interfaces for connecting to an HDMI display and PS2 joystick, making it ideal for creating a retro gaming console setup.

  4. Educational and Developmental Use: It can be paired with Sipeed's series of PMOD modules, making it useful for FPGA university teaching and other educational purposes.

  5. Comprehensive Documentation and Support: The Wiki provides detailed specifications, schematics, dimension drawings, and a clear path for getting started with development, including IDE installation, syntax learning, and example summaries.
