CUAV IST8 External Compass of GPS Module | PX4 Geomagnetic Sensor IST8310

Description:

The IST8 compass module is built into iSentek’s 3×3mm LGA geomagnetic sensor IST8310, which is widely used in drone products. The PX4 and ArduPilot have been applied to the Pix flight control and can be used as an external compass for the V5 flight control.

Installation

Please connect the ist8 compass to the i2c interface of the flight controller. Please make sure that the arrow in the above figure points to the front of the flight controller.

Supported firmware

The firmware of the CUAV V5 flight controller is perfectly compatible with the external compass, both pix and APM firmware. If you are using other flight controllers, please contact customer service.
