Overview


YDLIDAR X2N is a 360° two‑dimensional distance measurement LiDAR developed by Shenzhen EAI Technology Co., Ltd. Based on the triangulation principle and combined with optical, electrical, and algorithmic designs, it achieves high‑frequency, high‑precision ranging. While measuring distances, the mechanical structure rotates 360° to continuously acquire angle information, outputting point cloud data of the scanned environment. It is widely used in robot navigation, obstacle avoidance, security surveillance, and 3D reconstruction.

Detailed Description


The YDLIDAR X2N employs triangulation ranging technology, performing 3000 measurements per second (measurement frequency 3000 Hz) to rapidly capture the surrounding environment. The scan frequency can be flexibly adjusted via the PWM signal on the M_CTR pin (5 Hz ~ 8 Hz) to suit different applications. In terms of accuracy, the absolute error is ≤ ±2 cm for distances ≤ 1 m; relative error ≤ 3.5% for 1 m < distance < 6 m; and ≤ 5.0% for 6 m ≤ distance ≤ 8 m, ensuring reliable and precise data.

The electrical interface uses an MX1.25‑4P female connector, providing 5 V power (4.8 V ~ 5.2 V), serial communication (Tx, 3.3 V logic, baud rate 115200 bps), and motor speed control (M_CTR). By controlling the M_CTR pin level or PWM signal, the radar can be put into standby or operating mode, and its rotation speed can be adjusted. The internal optical system uses an infrared pulse laser with wavelength 775 nm ~ 800 nm and average output power ≤ 13 mW, meeting Class I safety requirements—no additional protective measures are needed.

The operating temperature range is 0 ℃ ~ 40 ℃, storage temperature -10 ℃ ~ 60 ℃, ensuring stable operation in typical indoor environments. The polar coordinate system is defined with the rotation center as the pole, clockwise as positive angle, and the zero‑angle at the front of the motor (with an individual deviation of ±3°), facilitating data parsing and secondary development.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Cancelling or Changing an Order

  • You may cancel your order or change the delivery address within 24 hours of placing it.

“Delivered” but Not Received

Occasionally courier tracking (especially EMS) shows “delivered” a little early. Your package usually arrives within 1–3 days. In the meantime, we suggest:

  • Checking with neighbours or your building reception.
  • Contacting your local post office with the tracking number.

Missing or Lost Package

If a package is truly lost, email us at shop@youyeetoo.com with your order number and tracking number. We will file a claim with the carrier and work with you on a resolution.

Standard Warranty

  • Most boards come with a 12‑month limited warranty from the date of shipment.
  • Covered: Manufacturing defects and hardware failures under normal use. We will repair or replace defective components free of charge, covering one‑way shipping back to you.
  • Not covered (out‑of‑warranty repairs or excluded causes): Repairs will be charged. All costs (repair, shipping, handling) are the customer’s responsibility.

Important Note on Chip Damage

Damage to main chips/MCUs caused by misuse—such as overvoltage, reverse polarity, short circuits, liquid ingress, or improper firmware flashing—is not covered under free warranty. In these cases we will provide a paid repair quote based on the chip value.

Warranty Exceptions

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Operating environment not meeting national standards (overvoltage, overcurrent, lightning, high temperature, extreme humidity, vibration, etc.)
  • External events (earthquake, fire, etc.)
  • Human factors (liquid contact, abuse, oxidation, rust, dropping)
  • Failure to follow official installation, usage, maintenance, or storage instructions
  • Unauthorised modification, disassembly, or re‑assembly
  • Natural wear and tear, cosmetic degradation, or breakage during use
  • Any other issue not directly caused by design, technical, or manufacturing defects
