Applications

Ideal for open-source router development, home network upgrades, enterprise edge network deployment, network laboratory setup, wireless technology research and validation, and SDN/NFV experimental environments.

Product Description

The BPI-R4-NIC-BE14 WiFi 7 Module is built on the MediaTek Filogic 880 platform, comprising three core components: the MT7995AV main controller, MT7976CN dual-band RF chip, and MT7977IAN 6GHz-dedicated RF chip. At just 82×51mm, this module is significantly more compact and cost-effective than earlier prototypes.

The module supports open-source operating systems including OpenWrt, making it ideal for developers and network engineers engaged in custom router development. Note: The module does not include a heatsink; a large heatsink is strongly recommended for high-load operation.
